I've had my Mitsubishi 65" since 2008. This is January, 2016. Last week started the "dot journey". Found info on u-tube and here. Found chip on Amzon for $182. Since I've never fixed a TV I thought it would be a long tedious journey. It took 1 hr. Picture looks brand new. Oh, I changed the bulb also for the 1st time. Simple. Thanks for the info. Saved over $300.

This very nice app has one big disadvantage because of the totally mad german translation. Is there a way to switch the app to english or to download the english version? Google play only offers the mistranslated version. If you like, it would be an honour for me to help you translating to correct german phrases!

i love this app but it just will not work any more it say error trying to pull stations.
so
i uninstalled it and reinstalled it then i get the same thing.im going
to miss yhis app very mutch.wish they made it for ubuntu.

I installed the Sam DLP chip on my Samsung 67. It has a lot of thick white and grey vertical lines. I even tried putting in the chip twice to reseat it and the lines are still there. The chip feels snug I'm confused to what's going on?!

I have enjoyed the app. I have downloaded and dumped it a few times over the course of a few different phones...always reliable..till now and I dont understand the problem..it will only play when connected to wi-fi, and that hasn't been the case before, I could always count on it to be on while driving across W. Texas going from tower to tower..lottsa open spaces out there, it would always be faithful to keep the connection. I got a new phone some time back and installed it and worked fine....well i was angry one day and cleaned up my phone, dumping this and that...I had tunein app also..which also took a dump?..anyway I recently installed it again, and I haven't been on the road since October..well it works great at house, but if I go off wi-fi connection, it doesn't load up....the indicator on the screen remains at 0 and the arrow spins..and nothing happens till I get back to wi-fi...I loved this app cause I could listen to all the alternative news and talk when I wanted to....I would gladly purchase the app if thats what it takes...phone is a LG optimus...thanks

Great app!! but please don't translate buttons to spanish like "Play" as "jugar". We use jugar to play games, footbal etc, not for music. Use "reproducir" or just "play"

I contacted Mitsubishi and they offered to send the chip to a certified service center in my area for the $200 labor fee. I then called the service tech directly and told them I wanted to do the work myself if they would receive the chip at no cost or liability to them. They agreed and put in the service request and only charging me $25 for the time it takes them to do this for me. Try calling your local service center and see if they will do that for you also.

Here is some supplemental information that may be of use based on my experience replacing the DMD.

Service Manual Link: http://www.audiolabga.com/p...

The Service Manual has details regarding troubleshooting LED codes and screen calibration at a deeper level than what is in the Owner Manual.

Also, in the above instructions, the author instructs to test before reassembly. It may be necessary to put the the service plate back into position to allow the TV to power up (Lamp error LED flashes).

Lastly, some items I found useful during the repair were tape, needle nose pliers and a spotlight.

maybe the stations bitrate is to high for sprints network. I know they have been bogged down lately.

This app can play any stream type supported by your particular phone. If you go to the specs page of your phone you can read the specific file types supported like mp3, acc, ogg etc... Other apps may be using custom players where my app uses androids player.

Just to clarify for everyone else...her is referring to the TouchPad version of this app that runs on webOS Enyo. It is incapable of running Bluetooth for several reasons. The Android app runs on Bluetooth perfectly.

This is a great app, but I've had a problem. When I try to open one of my favourite streams, it hangs and takes forever to load (when it does load).

It loads on every other platform I use (Winamp, VLC, RadioTray), but won't load here. Any suggestions? I do have the Pro version...
